What is the difference between a laser printer and an inkjet printer?

There are many different characteristics between a laser printer and an inkjet printer. The three most prominent are: Cartridges Space Speed With printing, everything comes down to what business you run , orwhat kind of studying you are doing or what output you need when working from home. Cartridges: Laser printers use toner, and inkjet printers use ink cartridges. A laser printer uses a drum and an electrical charge that burns the toner onto the paper. Inkjets printers use a more simplified technology where ink is dispensed across the page using a high-pressure nozzle that creates even distribution. Space: Office laser printers can be big and heavy compared to inkjet printers. Inkjets sit easily on a small desk or even a shelf and can be moved around. For printing at home, the best bet would typically be an inkjet. Speed: There is no comparison between the two regarding workload and fast printing. If that is your requirement, then a laser printer is considerably more effective. If you are looking at detailed colour printing, then an inkjet printer would produce high-grade prints. However, the production is considerably lower than its laser counterpart. So if you are looking for colour printing but also speed, then look at colour laser printer options on our site.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Unless we are out of stock, we ship everything within 24 hours. We use New Zealand Post and a network of couriers around the country. Heavier items can't generally be sent by New Zealand Post. Due to New Zealand's size and diversity, we don't use a one-size-fits-all approach to delivery. We look to use the most efficient and reliable couriers in each state, city and suburb to maintain reliability. Delivery times can vary depending on the courier but as a general guide, 1-5 business days to a street address is standard. For PO Boxes and rural addresses in towns or cities, up to 5 working days is standard. For remote areas, delivery can take up to 10 working days.

How do I know if the item I'm buying is in stock?

On our website, first, navigate to the product you wish to purchase. If the product has an Add button, it is in stock. If it has a Preorder button, it will be dispatched as soon as stock arrives to our warehouse (most Preorder products have an ETA or lead time displayed).

What is your return policy?

You will need the original order number or tax invoice number to return goods. There are two types of returns, faulty goods and incorrectly ordered goods. To return goods, follow the instructions below: Please go to our Returns Policy Page before filling out the Return Authorisation Number request form. Go to your list of orders and select 'View' on the particular order which contains the item you wish to return. Click on the 'Request a Return' button in the top right-hand corner. Select the product you wish to return and press 'Continue'. Check all details are correct, then press 'Submit'. Once your return request has been submitted. Please wait until you hear back from us.

Laser & Ink Printers

The laser printer and inkjet printer market is still experiencing a lot of growth, driven by rapid technological advancements that deliver superior print quality and efficiency. As the industry continues to thrive year after year, staying abreast of these developments can be a formidable task, especially for those not working in the field.

While the market features regular manufacturers such as HP, Canon, Epson and Brother with decades-long legacies, a multitude of innovative newcomers has also entered the market. Some may argue that the market appears saturated, particularly in the realm of all-in-one laser printers. Nevertheless, the ever-changing landscape of technology ensures a constant demand for new solutions, prompting manufacturers to engage in relentless research and development efforts to meet evolving customer needs.

In such an expansive and dynamic industry, it's important to define your objectives and expectations from the outset. Securing the services of a reputable supplier and seeking expert guidance are pivotal steps before embarking on a long-term investment journey. This essential groundwork ensures that you have a clear direction when navigating the market.

At Printzone, we boast a wealth of experience accumulated over years of operation in this rapidly evolving landscape. Throughout our journey, we have witnessed the rise and fall of groundbreaking innovations, which have often rendered once-preeminent laser printers obsolete within a couple of years.

Armed with this knowledge, our dedicated and seasoned team will give you a curated selection of options. These offerings will empower you to discern the advantages and disadvantages of each choice, allowing you to make informed decisions that balance productivity and cost-effectiveness over the long term.

It's important to get the advice of experts, like Printzone, in a landscape as vast and diverse as the printing industry. While many customers may be drawn to cheap deals, the ideal solution for your needs will more likely lie outside these popular choices.

Ultimately, a printer must meet the criteria of reliability, delivering the desired output while remaining cost-effective within your budget constraints. At Printzone, we take pride in offering the widest selection of printers and multifunctions in New Zealand, ensuring that you have access to a diverse array of options tailored to your specific requirements.
