The Canon imagePROGRAF PRO‑1100 is a high-end, 17-inch (roughly A2+) wide-format photo printer built for professionals and serious enthusiasts. It employs Canon’s advanced LUCIA PRO II 11-colour (plus Chroma Optimizer) pigment-based ink system, producing a much wider colour gamut, deeper blacks and richer blues, as well as improved resistance to scratching, gloss variations and light-fade — making it ideal for fine-art, gallery-quality output. With its maximum resolution of 2400 × 1200 dpi and support for borderless prints up to 17″×22″ (and even banner-lengths up to 3.27 metres), it provides both impressive size flexibility and exceptional print clarity. The printer also features a stable “Air Feed System” to keep media flat during printing, an anti-clogging print-head system for reliability, and both wired and wireless connectivity—including USB, Ethernet and WiFi. While it’s physically substantial (approx. 723 × 435 × 285 mm and around 32 kg) and geared for demanding workflows—so it may require a dedicated space—its build and output quality make it a standout choice for photography studios, fine-art printers or anyone needing premium large-format colour output.
