The Canon imagePROGRAF TM-610 is a 36-inch large format printer designed for A0 CAD drawings, architectural plans, engineering documents, GIS maps, posters and other wide format applications. With its larger print width, it is suitable for organisations that regularly work with full-size technical drawings while also requiring the flexibility to produce colour graphics and presentation material. Canon rates the TM-610 at approximately 17 seconds for an A1 CAD drawing in Fast mode on plain paper.
The five-colour pigment ink system combines cyan, magenta, yellow, black and matte black inks, with the improved matte black formulated to give technical drawings strong line definition and deeper black reproduction. Automatic detection of media type and remaining roll length helps simplify media management, while borderless printing can produce edge-to-edge posters without a separate trimming step.
The TM-610 also includes Canon's sub-ink tank system so ink tanks can be changed while a print job is running. Wired network, Wi-Fi, USB and mobile connectivity provide a range of installation options, while Canon's Direct Print Plus and PosterArtist software support technical document and poster-production workflows.
