AFFORDABLE INDIVIDUAL INK CARTRIDGES
If you are printing a lot of pictures with blue skies, you will need to replace your cyan ink cartridge sooner than you would need to replace other colors. With individual ink cartridges, you only need to replace the one that is actually empty. However, if you have a tri-color cartridge, you have to replace the entire cartridge even if only one color is empty. This wastes the ink that is still usable. Wasted ink equals wasted money.
